FINISHING TOUCHES – MANDURAH PERTH
At our Oversby Street renovations and maintenance project each unit was initially given a full building/structural and termite inspection. The report lists all the visual structural and workmanship defects. A consultation thereafter with the strata company highlighted all the issues within the building complex. We followed with an in-depth consultation on expectations and estimated budget requirements.
Our workers involved in this project covered many aspects. These included organising many tradespeople, supplying relevant materials, imposing regulators, standards – safety, relevant insurances, and hire of equipment eg. Trucks/Scaffolding. At Assess and Construct this is all project managed for you throughout your complete renovation process.
With only weeks to go to the finishing touches on the Mandurah renovations, you can see from some our final photos that the Units and site area are now looking very polished and close to the finishing line.
These units are only 90 metres from the beach and ideally located with an elevated outlook and spectacular ocean views.
We replaced this with new due to the broken panels and rusted areas from damaged metalwork. There was no insulation to the roof and it didn’t meet building standards when originally built. The metalwork has been fabricated and reinstalled and roof replaced.

The main renovations and maintenance issues were by far the vast amount of painting required and rusted steelworks. Our tradesman used specified paint for coastal conditions. The rusted steel works required galvanised steel work tradesman to bring it back to its former glory. This project has been a true labour of love. The time frame has been only 6 months mainly due to excellent project management and dedicated team of staff and tradesman.
